I'm obsessed with the Juxtaposition. Trek Thunder Kelly is such a fascinating artist. Trend.Land has more of his Native American series which I couldn't find on his site.
The September issues are coming out and the editorials are leaking online but so far the best one I've seen is Agness Deyn as Michael Jackson for Harper’s Bazaar by Terry Richardson... There is NOTHING wrong here - LOVE
The styling guru Nicola Formichetti just posted an amazing editorial in OUT magazine featuring Lady Gaga and shot by Ellen Von Unwerth. I'm a fan! More pics on his blog.
Ok, I get that neon pink gorilla fur coats/sleeves in the Fall Dolce & Gabbana campaign are better in editorial images than in the real world but they are so hot! Take a look at the rest of their fall campaign here. I love the shots though i could really do without Jesus Luz. They should have used Marlon Teixeira as their Brazilian muse.
I've been obsessing over Abbey Lee this entire season. She looks amazing in these images with Catherine McNeil by Greg Kadel. Check out more here. Interesting note:: Vogue Australia airbrushed out the nipple rings for the publication but I think its great that they have matching ones :)
Here's a poster illustration I created for a collaboration film between Bloomingdale's and Young Indies Films. The poster is for one of 5 movies that you will be able to vote on this fall as Bloomingdale's rolls out their Fall film season. I'll post more about that when the information becomes available.
I find it amazing how often the Mona Lisa gets recreated with some kind of modern twist but when the modern twist is coffee-- That's when I become inspired. 3,604 cups o' joe were used to create this piece for the Rocks Aroma Festival in Sydney... its pretty impressive
I am a little embarrassed to do a post on Lindsay Lohan but she seriously looks amazing on the September 09 issue of Elle UK. Click here for more pictures.
Im so afraid to ruin this that I won't even leave a description but YOU HAVE TO GO SEE Fuerzabruta at the Daryl Roth Theater in Union Square!! Its so amazing and if you join theatermania.com (free) you can get $45 discount tickets instead of paying $75.
Beautiful evening for a summer movie. The incredibly soaked and muddy lawn did little to deter the crowds. Audra's run for Magnolia cupcakes and dan's request for their banana pudding gave the whole night a sweet finish :)
