Welcome to an evening of pouring prosecco, hanging with lovely people and enjoying a much needed laugh. I volunteered tonight at illustrator/writer Maira Kalman's Small Talk for AIGA/NY. This was one of those lectures where I left feeling good. It wasn't long and she didn't repeat what I already know about design.
I left wanting to take a daily walk and be inspired by something at the moment. She mentioned the newness in found objects and it really made me think of how much I overlook on a daily basis. She quoted a postcard she found and so I will leave you with this::
