I love the idea that the simplest shapes can be absolutely beautiful when taken out of context. In Jim Denevan's case, its the scale and the medium that makes his work (which is almost primitive) so impressive. This is proof to me that I've lost my faith in patience because if I didn't know the artist I would have to assume it is some sort of extra-terrestrial contact.
